We rescue flowers to

uplift others,

foster sustainability, and

inspire kindness

in our Lake Tahoe community.

Each year, thousands of event florals are sent to landfill when the event ends. We rescue those flowers and share them with hospitals, senior centers, and community-based organizations to bring comfort, joy, and healing to our community - spreading kindness one petal at a time.

Through our efforts, we not only brighten lives but also reduce floral waste, diverting it from landfills and into sustainable green waste streams.

HOW IT WORKS

1. It starts with a floral donation.

2. We coordinate help for a floral rescue and new bouquet arrangements

3. Bouquets are shared with community recipients with a pledge to compost.

We love our helpful volunteers who make new floral arrangements for others - just to bring a smile.

Fun fact: did you know that science shows that the floral recipient and the floral provider both receive an equal amount of happiness from the flora

We are so happy to have brought a smile to a wonderful organization in Lake Tahoe who brings the community together and brings accessibility and awareness for all.
