FLORAL RUNNERS
Seeking responsible, dependable, and reliable floral runners to pick up donated flowers after our Lake Tahoe events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive (your own vehicle) to the event venues with boxes or buckets to collect florals.
Positively interact with venues, vendors, and donors as needed to perform floral collection.
Adhere to venue requirements related to parking, loading, and unloading.
Carefully collect floral arrangements to preserve quality.
Load your vehicle with flowers. Unload at our main site.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have own vehicle with capacity to fit a minimum of six floral buckets or three boxes of florals.
Must have a reliable phone for communication needs.
Must be attentive to email and phone communications with the Kindness Coordinator.
Must have a positive, friendly, and kind attitude.
SHIFTS, PAY, & PERKS
Runners receive an email to ‘sign up’ as donations are scheduled. Runners select gigs on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pick ups are typically between 10:00 pm - 1:00 am or 7:00 am - 9:00 am Thursdays - Mondays.
$30.00 flat rate per pick up.

JOIN THE BOARD
We are seeking responsible, dependable, and caring board members to help drive the goals of Petal Kindness
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend quarterly board meetings
Represent Petal Kindness by maintaining positive interactions with the community.
Help our as-needed with volunteer efforts
Drive a culture of Kindness. Be a pillar of the community. Take home a fresh bouquet of flowers!
KINDNESS COORDINATOR
We are seeking a passionate community-oriented person to join Petal Kindness, manage inquiries, donations, volunteers, and distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and drive community and collection goals to support the Kindness Coordinator position.
Manage the organization’s email and inquiries of all donor inquiries, floral recipient requests, volunteers and shift management, and supplier donation inquiries.
Organize, respond, document, track, and schedule incoming emails and phone calls and respond timely and with a positive customer-oriented mindset.
Be on-site during our working hours to open the shop, manage the volunteers, perform inventory assessments, run the POS and sell arrangements to our community only, and close the shop.
Make daily banking deposits and track sales.
Delegate and lead the volunteers to maintain a positive volunteer experience.
Manage floral needs and expectations with the community.
Manage the social media accounts and encourage “Petal Kindness” marketing campaigns.
Write and apply for Grants to support the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be proficient with Social Media accounts and the Google Product suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets).
Must be great a scheduling and logistics to coordinate floral runners, volunteer shifts, and community donation requests.
Must have own vehicle, computer, and phone to perform job.
Must have wifi access for remote work needs
Must have a positive friendly attitude and love kindness.
Must have experience in grant writing.
HOURS, PAY & PERKS
Seasonally operated from April 15th - October 31st
Approximately 30 hours per week.
~20 hours on-site: Friday through Monday from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. +~5 hours for occasional Tuesday Farmers Markets when volume and freshness are still available.
~5 hours of remote mid-week email management, scheduling pick-ups, donor correspondence, and weekend preparation.
$18.00 / hour
